Customer Websites
Altica is an IT consultancy specialising in project management, service management and performance testing.
The brief was to create a website that could be updated by a number of editors, without them having to learn the technical side of web development.
The result was a website built on the Drupal Content Management System featuring updatable content, a blog, and several sections including news, services etc. Email management is integrated into the site giving users the ability to subscribe/unsubscribe from the newsletters. Newsletters are emailed directly from the site..
New articles are announced to blog sites such as Technorati and Twitter is being trialled to broadcast site updates (www.twitter.com/altica).
Oakland is a service provider focusing on the placement of skilled senior managers into a number of positions in IT, finance and sales.
The site is built on the Drupal Content Management System giving Oakland a flexible platform to add new services, change content and add graphics. Full email management is incorporated into the site.
Salesforce.com Implementations
An IT company was faced with the problem of prospect details being held in multiple spreadsheets with no easy way of coordinating marketing activity. Prospects frequently received newsletters and event invitations multiple times, and there was no record of what marketing material had been sent.
The solution was to import all of the contact details into Salesforce.com creating a single point of reference for all of their prospects and customers. Reminders are generated if a potential customer has not been contacted for a while, and a full contact history including details of telephone calls and meetings can be easily reported to help progress sales campaigns.
Salesforce.com is accessed using a web browser and no hardware needed to be procured.
